Artem Lonhinov prevailed in a multi-stage selection process and will serve as First Kapellmeister and Deputy General Music Director at Theater Freiburg starting in the 2025/26 season. His responsibilities will include the musical direction of opera productions, conducting symphony and family concerts, as well as representing the General Music Director.
